Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Pine Grove Church - Walnut Grove based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one God, and His name is Jesus! According to Scripture, He is the Creator of all things, the Savior of the world, and the One who loves us beyond measure. "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!" (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the same God who spoke to Moses from the burning bush, walked among us as Jesus Christ, and now dwells within believers through His Spirit.
Jesus is our Redeemer, our Healer, and our Hope. He is not distant or unreachable—He is near, always ready to guide, strengthen, and restore. "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9). His name has power to save, transform, and bring peace to every heart that calls on Him.

Sin & Salvation
Everyone has sinned and is in need of salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Psa. 51:5; Rom. 3:23-25; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9).
